The following list of rules are intended to provide a uniform set of consequences for any problems that may arise in guild or raid. Most of the rules are common sense and they are intended to provide the best possible progression raiding environment.
Section 1: Grounds for removal NO questions asked.
a) Drama; Any form of it is a removable offense. If you have an issue with another player, you should bring it to a officer. If your issue is with an officer, bring it to the co-gm or gm.
b) Rage quitting in the middle of a raid. This brings down the moral of your raid team, especially during any form of mythic raiding. This is grounds for immediate removal, no questions asked.
c) Any form of raging at other guild members or officers will not be tolerated and you will be removed on the spot.
Section 2: Situations that require an Officer to step in and act accordingly.
a) Attendance. No post, no shows can come with many different punishments such as retrial for your raid spot or removal from the raid group. If it is a minor first time offence you will be given a warning. (If the no show is the result of an unexpected emergency, it will be taken into consideration).
b) Raid Performance. This is typically on the Recruitment Officer to take care of, but if it starts to hinder the guild's raid progression the following actions can be taken against you: Retrial, removal from the group or demotion to a backup raider until you can earn back your core spot.
c) Minor Attitude Problems. There will be a 3 strike process, the first 2 infractions will result in a warning, the 3rd will be dealt with as a gm sees fit. This could mean guild removal or raid team removal.
d) Loot Distribution. If you have an issue with whomever a item goes to, bring it up to an officer. If you cause issues in raid, you will be given a warning. If you continue to cause issues in raid, you may be removed from the raid group. Being part of a raid team means more then some pixels.
e) Gear Issues. This covers any issues with your gear such as gems, enchants, and improper itemization (We understand loot does not always drop). These infractions will result in a chat with your class officer. If you do not fix the issues in a acceptable amount of time you will lose your spot for that week. If this occurs at a time we can not afford to replace you, you will forfeit your chance to compete for gear.
f.) Face pulling: Do not face pull the boss. We have 8 hours a week for bosses, each accidental pull is costly. Repeated face pulls are subject to a guild repair fine of 5,000G.
Section 3: Minor Infractions
a) Late without informing an officer. Minor tardiness will just result in a warning and possible forfeit of your raid spot for the evening.
b) No knowledge of a boss before starting the encounter. A strategy will be posted on the forums before we encounter the raid boss. Remember, if you show up not knowing a boss fight you will be holding back 19 other people. Raiders will be benched for the evening.
c) Constant post outs. This issue is minor since real life happens, but if its on a consistent basis you will forfeit your core spot.
d) Mythic Raiders are expected to post a best in slot (BiS) list on the forums prior to the launch of a new raid. This will ensure we know what bosses you need and help the loot council distribute loot quickly on a farm content. This infraction will result in a warning and if its not fixed, you will forfeit your raid spot for the night.
e) Not signing up on the site. It is required so you can post out in our raid absences forum and keep your BiS list up to date. This is required to get a raid invite. Keep in mind you are not required to use the forums outside of the before mentioned forums, its just encouraged since there will be posts containing strategies, kill videos, and anything else raid related.
Section 4: Social And General Rules. These rules are to be followed by any members in the guild outside of raid.
a) Section 1 applies to this section.
b) Inactivity from the guild needs to be reported to an officer so you do not get removed from the guild.
c) If a Social Member is to be brought to a raid, they are bond by the same rules that our raiders uphold. Any issues with this will result in guild removal.
d) Any disrespect to people outside the guild while wearing our guild tag is unacceptable. This makes our guild look like scum and will kill any possible recruits for our raid team. This is a kick-able offence
e) Proper Mumble Etiquette. The guild's Mumble server is there to use for whatever you desire. Any serious issues with other players in Mumble Could result in a guild kick. On the off chance you use it for a pug group and one of the pugs starts to cause issues, inform a guild officer. All guild officers have administrator privileges in Mumble and they will handle the situation.
